Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io, or Mutatio, is a multiplayer variant of agar.io. The player controls a blob that is able to be changed, fed, and grown and then used to attack opponents.
This game was one I designed for Pygame Community New Years Jam (theme: Mutation). I wanted to try out new methods of game design and also learn more about networks. A less global state
At present, the only server available is my own: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll likely keep for a month or so in the days following release. Maximum number of simultaneous clients allowed is 10.

Versions explained:version 1.0.1 was released prior to the close of jamversion 1.0.2 added some minor bugs fixes to the server.py file , which was related to sudden disconnections of clients. disconnections”slim” Versions are the compiled versions that I’ve attempted to remove the DLLs and folders in other folders I’m not sure it is required to use the program. You download at your own risk.
